Taking the time-honoured aviator look to all new heights, the Oakley Polarized Plantiff OO4057 04 Lead Sunglasses have more to offer than simply a new look on a classic design.
Stepping back in time, aviators previously had to make do with flat lenses which resulted in poor performance. Not so nowadays, as the Oakley Plantiff has a 8.75 base curvature, resulting in contoured lenses for enhanced sighting.
Continuing the aviation theme, a lead grey tone lends itself well to the style of the frame and lenses whilst the debossed O icon takes up stylish residence over each side.
Inspired by the leaf springs of performance racing machines, this allows the stems to hyper flex when necessary whilst also incorporating the mechanics of Mono Shock™ hinges.
For the best polarised lenses on the planet (according to Oakley), advanced technology has been used to create Oakley HDPolarised. This alone is not enough for a brand which thrives off being cutting-edge and so the Plutonite® lens material provides UV protection and filters out 100% of UVA, UVB, UVC and harmful blue light.
Even the included Microclear™ bag serves a purpose and has been designed for frame storage along with gentle lens cleaning.
