One of only three African nations to reach the World Cup quarter-finals, Ghana are now seen as one of the dominant forces in African football with a colourful and vocal support.
Made by Puma, from 100% polyester, the Ghana Home Football Shirt was released for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
A plain white offering is enhanced by a black and yellow collar for an injection of colour to the shirt. The Ghana badge is stitched onto the left chest whilst the Puma cat log appears on the opposite side and also atop both sleeves.
As a distinct touch, across the front of the shirt are a number of stars in an array of colours to represent the Ghana national flag and also the team's nickname as the Black Stars. This design was created as part of a unique Puma initiative to introduce local artists, creating a shirt representing the nation's unique culture and traditions.
Designed to keep you dry and comfortable, this is achieved courtesy of Puma's USP (Ultimate Sports Performance) moisture management which utilises breathable fabrics and creates a lightweight fit.
As a finishing touch, below the badge are four embroidered stars representing each of Ghana's Africa Cup of Nations victories.
