Made by Puma, from 100% polyester, the Gabon Home Football Shirt was released for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations where they reached the quarter-finals.
A vibrant yellow offering across the whole shirt, a touch more colour is added with royal blue and green bands around the collar, as featured on the Gabon national flag. The Gabon crest is stitched onto the left chest whilst the Puma cat logo is stitched in blue on the opposite side and also atop the short sleeves.
Designed to keep you dry and comfortable, this is achieved courtesy of Puma's USP (Ultimate Sports Performance) moisture management which utilises breathable fabrics and creates a lightweight fit.
As a distinct touch, across the front of the shirt is the shadow of a panther's head, symbolising Gabon's nickname as The Panthers. This design was created as part of a unique Puma initiative to introduce local artists, representing the nation's unique culture and traditions.
Having qualified for several Africa Cup of Nation tournaments, Gabon are still waiting to debut on the world stage at the World Cup.
