The reigning South American champions, Uruguay were the first nation to win the World Cup and are experiencing an upsurge after finishing fourth at the 2010 World Cup under a new generation of international stars.
Made by Puma, from 100% polyester, the Uruguay Home Football Shirt was released for the 2012/13 season.
A traditional sky blue colour is complemented by a white round-neck collar and short sleeve edging. The Uruguay crest takes pride of place on the left chest and includes four gold stars, representing their two World Cup victories and two gold medals achieved at the Olympic Games. The Puma cat logo is printed centrally below the collar and also appears on the top of both short sleeves.
Designed to keep players and fans alike both dry and comfortable, this is achieved courtesy of Puma's USP (Ultimate Sports Performance) moisture management which utilises breathable fabrics.
As a subtle finishing touch, the Uruguay flag is printed inside the back of the collar whilst “Uruguay” is printed in small white lettering just beneath the rear of the collar.
This Uruguay football shirt is a replica of the version as worn by the likes of Luis Suarez and Diego Forlan.
