Taking inspiration from Manchester's famous famous cotton mills, the Manchester United 2012/13 LS Home Football Shirt embraces the iconic gingham check design for a truly bold red look which scores high on heritage and tradition.
The Manchester United badge takes pride of place adorning the left chest whilst the Nike swoosh logo sits on the opposite side. Across the centre of the chest, the AON sponsor is printed in white.
Effortlessly honouring the club's illustrious past combined with modern day innovations, Nike have created a shirt made from 23% lighter fabric and a 20% stronger knit. Whether worn for recreational or technical use, supporters will feel the benefit of Nike Dri-FIT technology; wicking away moisture to keep you cool and dry when the action starts to heat up.
In keeping with sustainable efforts, this shirt has been created from ground-breaking recycled polyester making it Nike's most environmentally friendly kit ever produced. Each set of shirts and shorts has been made from up to thirteen recycled plastic water bottles.
As a subtle finishing touch, an iconic devil symbol is printed onto the reverse of the collar whilst inside the collar the wording “Forged in Industry, Striving for Glory" is aptly featured.
